Over 100 trillion bacteria live in intestine.
This bacteria help to absorb the nutrition and compose vitamin.
And it plays role as the immunity(immune system) to defense bad virus.
There are several causes of obesity. If some virus in a intestine increases, the actual energy absorption rate is high and make fat.
It is possible to be diet if germs that cause obesity are removed?

Jeffrey I. Gordon, MD announced the report;  An obesity-associated gut microbiome with increased capacity for energy harvest. [Nature, 2006] Here we show that the relative proportion of bacteroidetes is decreased in obese people by comparison with lean people, and that this proportion increases with weight loss on two types of low-calories diet.
After the diet of obese patients, the number of intestinal bacteria is changed ; increasing of bacteroidetes. It means significant that enterobacteria influence on obesity.

The gut micobiota and obesity : from correlation to causality : Ph.D Liping Zhao at Shanghai Zhaotong University in Nature, 2013

Major enterobacteria divides firmicutes and bacteroidetes. Fat people have more firmicutes.

Ph.D Liping Zhao at Shanghai Zhaotong University discovered ‘enterobacter’; a harmful intestinal bacteria. He says, a number of a harmful intestinal bacteria increases by some mechanism as having bad eating habits. This bacterium pours out specific toxin, and that enters into blood vessels. Then white blood cells get infections. This inflammation makes a bad influence in our metabolism.

We should manage a good food habit and bacteroidetes for healthy life.
