It has amazing potential to replace sick, dressed wounds and aging cells. So it called a pluripotent cells. Stem cells are the body’s master cells.

Types of Stem Cells
Human Stem Cells can be largely categorized as human Embryonic stem cell(hESC) and adult stem cell, and induced Pluripotent Stem Cell(iPS). Embryonic stem cells are pluripotent stem cells derived from the inner cell mass of a blastocyst, an early-stage preimplantation embryo.These cells are difficult to public.
It is enough to know that these cells are most fundamental.

Differentiation of adult stem cells
The adult stem cells can be taken from a variety of sources for safe use, including umbilical cord blood and placenta when babies are born, blood and bone marrow or fat by an adult.
So stem cells can act as a repair system for the body, replenished in adult tissues, and can be used in treatment of various diseases.
